Ecoheroes - An immersive dance performance for children that zooms in on the little creatures that live on and beneath the Norwegian forest floor.

A microworld for the curious, join us as the forest floor crawls to life. Meet heroic creatures and their powers. Discover them emerge, evolve and regenerate in a playful dance of interconnection. Inside this tactile landscape, togetherness becomes key as the weave of life in the forest is revealed. After you visit this mysterious wonderland, perhaps you’ll see the forest in a new light?

Suitable for children 4+ and their families

Copy Norsk

En altoppslukende danseforestilling for hele familien, som zoomer inn på de
små skapningene over og under skogens bunn.

STICKY Productions Bio

STICKY Productions (Edginton/Lothe/Olsen/Parsons) is a dance collective of queer, female, dance artists based in Norway. Their practice delves into the bodily and the sensitive, the playful and the peculiar. Using the receptive and expressive body to investigate their subject matter, their performances play between literal and abstract to offer audiences proximity to imagination and opportunity to kinesthetically absorb stories. The artists met at Laban in London, and share a drive to create environmentally conscious work that centres new or untold narratives. Between 2020-22, STICKY created their first work Økohelter, played at Dansens Hus, Sentralen, Bærum Kulturhus, DKS Asker & Bærum, and selected for Dansenett Norge Spring 2024. STICKY is currently in development of their new dance work OOZE, approaching nature from a Queer Perspective. Through an imaginary,  sensory, and somatic journey into the world of slugs, we invite sexuality, sex, fluidity and transformation into the room.

STICKY Productions are currently part of the 2023-24 cohort of the international residency programme, Moving Identities, and will be in residence at Davvi - Senter for Scenekunst (Hammerfest, Norway), Hellerau (Dresden, Germany) and Udviklingsplatformen (Copenhagen, Denmark).
